A Traditional Start: enjoy an evening of Traditional song. A unique round robin experience where all performers are on stage together sharing songs giving it that extra special togetherness feeling.

Bill Crawford (MC & Traditional Singer)
Bill has been singing and MCing events for over 60 years and is a regular performer and MC at the festival.
Dave Webber and Anni Fentiman (Duo)
Dave and Anni are no strangers to the festival and have worked together for 35 years and have toured all over England the USA and Canada.
Jon Loomes (solo)
Jon Loomes is an English traditional singer and guitarist. Jon weaves magical, sensitive accompaniments in the finest traditions of Martin Carthy and Nic Jones.
Mossy Christian and Megan Wisdom
Hailing from Lincolnshire and East Anglia respectively, Mossy Christian and Megan Wisdom perform traditional English folk songs, unaccompanied or supported by a variety of instruments.
Rosie Upton (solo)
With more than 40 years, Rosie has developed a style based on English, Scots and Irish songs. Her voice is well suited to the occasional blues as well as hard-hitting songs of social comment.
