Prince Edward Island’s The East Pointers continue to redefine themselves. Their dancefloor-shaking, electro-trad glorious combination of folk/pop sounds is acknowledged as musical trailblazers.

As a duo Paul Downes and Phil Beer gained a strong reputation on the UK folk scene especially in the Midlands and their native Devon. A rare opportunity to watch them together again in Chippenham.

Seth Lakeman

New studio album The Granite Way will be released on 14 February 2025. A collection of brand new songs based on Westcountry folklore recorded with the band at the Momentum Studios in Devon

Acclaimed singer and bassist. Tours with Daphne's Flight, SykesMartin, Jim Causley, Phil Beer and as a soloist accompanying her voice with bass and guitar.

Martyn Wyndham-Read

Martyn Wyndham-Read has been involved with folk music for over 60 years. Martyn Wyndham-Read has been singing folk music for over 60 years.He set off from his mothers farm in Sussex when he was 18 with his guitar and went to Australia to work on a sheep and cattle station Emu Springs. His love of the music is still as strong as ever.

The 52nd Chippenham Folk Festival

With over 600 Performers Already Confirmed, our unique in-town festival will be another memorable folk weekend with music, dance and entertainment in every town-centre street and pub with 7 stages and dance venues.
